Yes, the USSR was illegally dissolved and this was done against the wishes of their citizens that voted years prior against it.

These numbers are publicly accessible, IDEK why you are barging in here, just to call us tankies, provide no basis for your argument, and then just leave

I hate this “hit and run” comments from turbo libs/fascists like “Ibuthyr”. Beside being an embarrassing comment, it adds nothing to the discussion.

I’m sorry, comrade, your allegedly-so-great-grandma was never “illegally dissolved”, she got into so much debt she committed suicide.

First of all why ‘grandma’? My own siblings were born before the end of the USSR. It wasn’t that long ago.

Secondly you’re not gonna school communists on communism, I can tell you that much. The order to dissolve was illegal and protested against both in government and civil society. It required Yeltsin to proclaim the Russian federation, which he had no authority to do. The US spent millions around the world trying to bankrupt the USSR in conflicts and in their own society (eg the CIA art festival they wanted the USSR to hold in the 60s).

Thirdly the reason you’re working more than your parents were in the 80s and healthcare is so bad CEOs are getting merked is because there is no USSR. With it western governments were scared of the revolution coming to them and allowed us treats to placate us. I call them treats but I could certainly go for guaranteed raises and free healthcare.

Fourth Russia is kicking NATO in Ukraine so I’m not sure you’re doing much better all things considered.

Nice monologue, kiddo, I’m sure an inattentive American might’ve bought into that, but you’ve happened to send this crap to a USSR-born Russian. XD

Being born at the tail end of the Gorbachev years doesn’t make you an expert on socialism. Someone had to tell you eventually.

And how much of the Soviet Union did you actually experience?

Being born in the USSR means nothing if it was dissolved the next day and your only material experience is of post-soviet Russia undergoing shock-therapy.

The vast majority of that “debt”, you claim she had, was only acquired after it’s dissolusion when it was forced to take on excessive IMF loans to pay for necessities that it used to produce self-sustainably, but was now restricted by arbitrary borders after being carved up.

Ah yes, being born in a country makes you an expert on it and you are magically imbued with everything about its history with total accuracy. That’s why everyone born in the US is famous for being in total agreement on everything.

I have heard that your people saw a significant drop in life expectancy and related HDI parameters after the dissolution.
Is it like that? What is your view on it?

Ironic that a capitalist bootlicker speaks about debt and suicide, given that DEBT SKYROCKETED AFTER THE USSR COLLAPSED.

CHILDREN LITERALLY PROSTITUTED THEMSELVES TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES, YOU CHOMO ASS CRACKER.
