The NYT bot seems to be posting a lot of articles, so I just blocked them a few min ago, no use seeing the posts if I can’t read them anyway.
Three possible options for you in the future, all involving copy/pasting the URL:
The Internet Archive wayback machine
Put http://12ft.io/ before the URL (you can keep the original http of the URL and still do this)
Paste the URL into the box on archive.is
None of those work 100% of the time (although the last one is pretty reliable), but they should work even on mobile.
