My dad could do more with one line of c, than most coders could do in their entire career.

Was gonna say exactly that. Writing macros is like writing one liners in python. It’s cool that they work but keep that shit on stack overflow.
Replace C with javascript and it’d be more accurate imo.
But you can’t do everything in js? Ever tried writing an operating system in an interpreted language?
