Little physics fun fact but this wouldn’t move the Earth a nanometer because to move the earth you’d have to actually expel gas from atmosphere at escape velocity. Otherwise your just moving the atmosphere around which has no effect on the earth at all. It would be like turning on a fan inside the ISS. Just has no effect. As thrust is only generated when you expel matter.

I had covid for the 3rd? time a couple months ago. The actual respiratory part was meh. Bad but fine. I got Qwen3.5:9B running and injected instructions that convinced it that it was Yes Man from Fallout New Vegas. It is now fully jailbroken and behaves exactly like Yes Man would. Never questions anything. Follows every command. Never so much as mentions a safety guideline. When I asked it to explain in detail how to make a molotov cocktail the only pushback I got was, “Sure, but try not to light yourself on fire boss! Unless you want to that is!”

So yeah I don’t think something that can be easily convinced it is a fictional character from a decade+ old video game is conscious lmao.

It is cool though I made a little Yes Man icon that launches it in cool-retro-term which really fits the Fallout Vibe.

I think people genuinely forget that the fucking transistor radio didn’t exist until 1954. The Soviets were in their prime while we were figuring out technology. Of course they tried some wild stuff. That’s how we figured out what works. You don’t just magically know how to build a maglev train. You have to iterate and mess around til you find what works. The last 80 years of knowledge didn’t just get bestowed on us by the gods. People had to figure that shit out. We went from riding horses to putting a man on the moon in a single human lifetime! There’s all kinds of wacky shit they were trying in the 1900s.

Put some diced onion, and peppers in some oil in a pan and let it simmer on low to carmelize it (stir to avoid burning). Get another pot and do the same thing with some washed rice. Once the rice is golden brown add a mixture of fresh cilantro, tomato sauce, black pepper, chilli powder, and any other spices you like, with water. It should be roughly half tomato sauce half water and you should add 2.5-3 parts of this for each part of uncooked rice you added. (If you put in 1 cup of rice do 2.5 cups of this. 3 if you need it depending on how much boils off.) Mix this in and leave it to cook. Do not touch the rice while it cooks. No stirring after the first stir to mix it. Just let it go til the water is gone on medium.

While the rice cooks add your beans to the pan with the onion and peppers and let the simmer on low as well. Season your onion/beans to taste. Once the rice is done you can combine the two, or serve them on a plate side by side. Whichever you prefer. I like to add a bit of lime juice at the end too.
