Jason arday got something like over 100 articles about him in one week. Hope these cunts don’t leave the news for a while, and they get fucking obliterated by penalties.

Relegation isn’t enough. They will just bounce right back up if that’s the only punishment. They need to have a multi-year transfer ban and a massive fine levied against them as well.

And all their trophies (or at least the domestic ones, where the FA has authority) should be taken from them. Even if they don’t hand them to the 2nd place team, just null them out for that season. And that should include every season between 2009 and 2026, not just the years that they were explicitly charged with. It’s not like their finances were magically rectified in 2019. Every season after 2018 is tainted too, because those further sessions were built on the cheating from the 2009-2018 seasons.

It needs to be more than just relegation. That’s just a one-year bump in the road to them.

It also needs to be more than just a ludicrous fine. Even a billion dollar fine will not make them flinch.

It needs to be a multi-year ban or a carry-over points deduction that will ensure relegation for multiple years. Like a 300 point deduction that gets paid off over the years. This isn’t about money to these sick fucks. This is about prestige. Take away any possibility of prestige, and that will hurt them.

Yah surprised to see this didn’t generate more buzz on the fedi, but yah trophies and titles should be stripped and hefty fines applied. Bonus points if the funds go directly to youth football groups. Don’t think City is going to find much sympathy on this verdict lol.

This is a great idea. Transmute their dirty money into something bc that helps the game me at the most finance break level. The right kind of money laundering.

Failing that, divvy it out to the clubs who were relegated from the PL directly because of results against Man Cheaty. You got relegated by 2 points and you lost to City while your relegation rival got a result? Here’s £15m as a small measure of compensation. But this shouldn’t prohibit law suits.

Yah it’s the wild west right now on what transpires from this verdict…do clubs sue, do leagues sue, does uefa get involved now as they were champions league title holders for a year. I honestly have no idea where this all goes. But as I mentioned before I really hope the youth clubs benefit from this…would go a long way of showing some grace and good will, but the opposite is likely to happen since this is City we are talking about lol
