It’s not even a rare occurrence, and the whole “painlessness” of it is controversial at best, it’s just that they paralyze the recipient first so there’s no way to tell.

No potassium chloride was used, that’s probably why the execution failed. They only used pentobarbital which is usually used as a sedative before the potassium chloride.

Yeah, it’s baffling how the state is so incompetent it can’t even kill people right. Just use a gigantic dose of fentanyl.
