Okay let me elaborate, I think it was fine I think bone Kingdom was a bit better than part one, but a lot of that was carried by the cult leader and that admittedly amazing ending, but it just didn’t feel at all like part of the same franchise and I feel like it didnt expand on the progression of the first two in a meaningful way. I probably would have liked it more if it had just been it’s own thing.
28 Years Later and Bone Temple are essentially a reboot into its own trilogy because 28 Weeks Later was some sellout bullshit. It separating itself from the original franchise is like the best thing about it because now it gets to do classic hero’s journey story telling. Reintroducing the characters from the first movie at the end of Bone Temple does not bode well for the final movie though IMO.
