Who puts parking inside a roundabout???
Maybe it’s just me, but this looks very urban, not rural.

Watching someone turning right into that top street and slowing down along WITH someone coming out of that street also slowing down shouldn’t get me this upset.
Are there any civil engineering heads that can diagnose why this roundabout runs so strange? Or otherwise tell if the road is fine but the people / my perception of normal roundabout behavior is wrong? (Genuinely on the last part because IDK.)
I am not a smart or experienced at all, but this is my guess.

Maybe because they are driving past parking spaces, and concerned someone might back out?

Based on the image where the truck is, there is another road very close to the top one. If the people driving there aren’t paying attention or try to rush the roundabout, the top people would have to slow down.
