    getting away with not being called a “leftist” for hating the usa is a matter of perspective. i can’t think of many right wing entities that hate it but that isn’t my expertise

      I know some of you forget, but here is a reminder that not everyone lives in the US. Outside of the US it is rather the norm to be opposed if you are not literally a western imperialist.

        that’s what i meant. the broad right wing (socially conservative, neoliberal economics, law and order) of the western world whether full throated nazis or not, skews to america so saying “you don’t have to be a leftist” presupposes you’re outside of the west or that “leftist” doesn’t include social democrat liberals that tend to limit their opposition to the present leadership of the us

      I mean even in the US, liberals often don’t hate america. Many are ashamed if it, and hate it’s current state, but many dont hate it as a political project
