When you compare it to how people reacted to Roger Waters or Chappel Roane voicing their support for Palestine, it really does. I think that standing with Palestine never was particularly unpopular to begin with, even back in early 2025 i remember polls with a very clear majority of Americans at least supporting a ceasefire. There was always a disconnect between the official narrative on this and how most people actually felt about the situation. But this “how people actually felt” is breaching containment. The propaganda machine is breaking down.
