    Someone write an effortpost on how we enddd up with a phone landscape that requires you to sell yourself to one of two awful companies. Shits so bad I’m begging to be able to sell myself to a slightly less terrible corporation again (blackberry)

      At least BBM was actually encrypted from what I know. I didn’t trust Google or Apple to properly encrypt RCS chats

      Edit: Upon further reading, the chats were encrypted, but not E2E, so at any point BlackBerry could access your messages. Still better than most alternatives at the time I guess…
