Trump has claimed he will send every citizen $5,000 if Republicans retain control of the US House and Senate. He provided no details about where he would source this money from or the legality of the incentive.
“So if the Republicans win, you win with us … it will be called the Trump dividend,” the president said.
Despite the fact that hes been saying $2k checks since before he got elected, which have never materialized, there are morons out there that will absolutely believe it.
“$2k if you elect me!1! $2500 for all the doge money we saved!1! $5k if you vote red in the midterms!1!1” Pretty soon it will be $10k if we let him win a third term.
People are so fucking abysmally stupid. The fact that the offer has to be $5k now due to rent increases, price increases, inflation, etc. is more telling than the fact that hes trying this bit again in the first place
