One of the reasons I hate this alternate history stuff so much, they treat countries like characters in a fucking anime or something, not places full of human beings.

“What if these two countries went to war?” “Oh, then Russia would be totally tsundere about it and big tough America would have a cool one liner.”

Meanwhile, what would actually happen is millions dead in a completely pointless conflict that would solve nothing.

The DPRK will just nuke ROC if they go to war, they always mention this, but this is reddit lib wholesome worldbuilding the DPRK would nuke itself just for the fun of it

If the Korean war resumed it would require the US to commit a genocide greater than the monstrosity seen in Gaza in full view of the public eye. I do not think the US is actually capable of that anymore, as demonstrated with Iran. The situation is not as asymmetrical as it was when they last did it.

And Russia has a mutual defense treaty with DPRK.

if the war resumed, wouldnt seoul burn immediately? to the ground. i thought korea had a shitton of artillery and missiles constantly aimed at it.

Zeno’s Korean War. Each outcome results in NATO annexing half of the remaining North Korea, and as a result they can never take all of it. Juche is eternal.
