It’s fucking bullshit. Rising Thunder wasn’t really my favorite game ever, but it was inventive and interesting. I don’t have anything against 2xko inherently, but it shouldn’t have taken 6 fucking years to launch with like 12 characters or whatever from such a wealthy studio, and then they just kill it immediately anyway. They couldn’t even wait a year to see how to possibly salvage it, whatever suits saw the line go down and just axed it because it wasn’t an instant infinite money printer.

I can see why people talk about how politically uninterested people can be pushed in the direction of radicalization by seeing how corporations are so fundamentally hostile to even their own treats.
