I have more or less tried every coffee making utensil possible and nothing really makes what I want in the way i want with the ease I want as one of these things. I took the inspiration from Finland where these are as ubiquitous as kettles in the UK

I sold my drip coffee machine to switch to pour over specifically for this reason. The slightly more time and manual effort to make coffee has brought down my coffee consumption to a more manageable level.
Fortunately I have someone to share with and its perfect for guests so out of a days pot i get maybe 2 mugs of coffee
