“I think people have a responsibility, especially now, to show that they are not on the side of what Israel is doing as loudly and boldly as possible. That’s the way I see it. I don’t want any harm committed against random citizens, whether they be Jewish or Muslim. I want a peaceful solution, and no, I don’t think that me calling Zionism a Nazi ideology is fomenting violence towards Jews broadly. I genuinely don’t believe that.”
As a response to the loded question:
Calling someone a Nazi has consequences. Do you think about the downstream effect of the language you use – whether it ends up leading to targeting or violence?
He is literally calling Zionism a Nazi ideology, but sure, go ahead and extract the a phrase out of context to make it sound like he’s arguing the “neither side” fallacy by omitting that the question is clearly talking about stochastic terrorism in the US, and explicitly bringing up how Muslims are victims of this stochastic terrorism.
Also, the whole “don’t platform fascists” only works when you’re the big media and the fascists are the small bean compared, Zionists essentially own all media already, Hasan isn’t platforming anyone here.
nobody clipped it, it’s about the interview. if he actually believed zionism was nazisim, he wouldn’t support lib zio politicians or go to der sturmer-lite for an interview
are you serious? bernie sanders and brad lander are the most egregious examples, who continue to vocally defend the existence of israel during a genocide
well i’d imagine he’s trying first to campaign for politicians that are trying to end the genocide before tackling zionism itself. i do believe he is of the opinion that zionist is a nazi ideology.
i would imagine that it’s impossible to currently get americans to jump to straight to voting politicians that want to abolish israel, since they currently vote for evil pieces of shit that send unconditional aid to israel in the middle of a genocide
i don’t think he fully supports these politicians, it’s more like critical support for the time being
i don’t think it’s gonna work, i don’t believe in electoral politics in a liberal democracy and wouldn’t promote it as the way to implement socialism, but i do respect him for at least trying to do something to end the genocide
edit: well, it’s more complicated than that. i’d say it’s likely that he accepts that they have nazi positions but believe something else but have to “tone it down” cus of the political environment in the states
he’s been saying stuff like this about other candidates at least
well we know that’s not true for sanders and lander, the old man is nostalgic for the days of golda meir and the younger is tying new york closer to israel. but sure
I’m not from that continent, but sure. You forgot to reply to the whole part where you’re blindly reposting Haaretz’s purposefully misquoted Hasan, literally serving their discourse.
Texting a list of companies online on a delay doesn’t prove anything, if I texted you the list you’d say it’s copy pasted.
BTW I don’t even watch Hasan, I just think falling for the Haaretz misquote is not a good idea, and even if I don’t watch Hasan I think he’s still an extremely positive figure for the baby leftists and holds a very reasonable position on most issues with the notable exception of Ukraine and to a lesser extent US politics (which I don’t care about because I’m not USian)
Great job clipping the actual phrase:

which lib zio politician does he support?

so to be clear, you think he does believe these are nazis, but is working with them because he’s practical?
yes

nothing can ever be done, a lesson from america.
quick, name ten companies on bds list
That’s why i boycott all companies just in case
this is why i drive traffic of my cattle into the entity propaganda websites, i’m actually just wasting their limited web resources.
Time for the cattle drive!

im not failing for misquote, im failing for not boycotting cultural institution of entity, in this case - genocidal newspaper
his position on israel is one state so that settlers can keep their land and homes so add that to the list
