Even if they were false why does it matter? In this capitalist hellhole i have to lie as a matter of literal survival. When I interview its all lies, when i tell bossman i did x or y its all lies, when i say “yes boss happy to enact your monumentally shit idea and i love it kiss kiss” its all lies.

We have grifters, snakes, charlatans all over the place why does one person potentially having lied about an achievement here warrant being harassed to death?

These include the Cambridge University professor’s claim that he ran 30 marathons in 35 days for charity and that he played semi-professional football, which both became central talking points in recent attacks on the late academic.

Holy shit its over the most meaningless crap as well.

i have no trouble believing somebody who was in good enough shape to actually run a whole marathon could jog a lot of them in short order. people hear “run a marathon” and assume you’re trying to beat the kenyans and not just finish the thing in 4 hours.

Most marathons are like 26 miles long and an average day of commuting walking for me is about 20 miles in a single day cos i live far as fuck away from anything AND IM NOT EVEN FIT IM A DESK JOCKEY.

There’s no like hard rule for any marathon afaik that means you have to sprint the whole way theyre supposed to be inclusive to finish at your own pace. The london marathon is 8 hours long you get 18 minutes a fucking mile i could crawl to the end on my hands and knees and make it in time.

Well i cheat by going out with my friends after work before coming home eheh. 2 hours walking to work 2 hours home so 4 hours normally without angrily exaggerating. Usually walk for 2 hours during the work day for lunch break and outside that cos sitting at a desk sucks. Then i walk about an hour to my friends then we go out to find places to chill so lots of walking. Wake up at 6am get home 8pm usually unless im staying over someones. But yeah i may have over exaggerated in my frustration I also tend to speed walk but i never have measured it.
