Doubtful it’ll happen, but one can always dream. That they didn’t actually let it go to a shutdown suggests that there’s Republicans who wanted to avoid a shutdown as much as Democrats and may be willing to compromise and reach a longer term deal, they’re not just trying to burn the whole place down.
