Saw it on the worlds tallest imax and I just kept thinking about how it took $250 million, massive practical effects, location shots, some of the best talent in hollywood, the biggest cameras, the biggest and best film, based on a story that literally coined the term “epic” all just to make the world’s okay-est movie.

That’s it. It was fine.

    I’d argue it was a bit better than okay-ish. I was surprised at how engaged I was with it despite its length. Wish they had made some more interesting casting decisions, Damon and Hathaway bored me. Pattinson was really the only performance that impressed me. Visually it was very impressive. It’s a good movie to see in the theaters, it’d probably put me to sleep if I watched it on my laptop.
