Get yourself a pinecil soldering iron (or two, they’re very affordable) and ignore the old-timers out there who whine endlessly about modern lead-free solder. If somebody can’t solder without lead, that’s a skill issue.
I can solder copper pipes but i don’t think you use a blowtorch on electronics.
