Talking to my lib uncle, who says that he left the Unitarian Universalist church because it got too DEI authoritarian, and telling him that China is a superior model of civilization
I can’t even unpick “DEI authoritarian” and also if you have a problem with DEI why join the UU church? Isn’t that basically their whole thing?!
He’s been a member as long as I can remember, long before “DEI” was the name for that thing fragile crackers whine about. He told me that DEI is authoritarian because it’s a way for people to tell others what to do.
I’ll have to dig into exactly what slur the UU wanted him to stop saying next time I talk to him.
