I was watching bits of it on Youtube and that weird scene where the prophet guy introduces every member of the Covenant was certainly something. I know they’ve been around since like the Halo 2 instruction manual but I can’t help but cringe when they have characters say the Covenant species’ “native” names out loud in dialogue. All of them are just something very on the nose in an Asian language that sounds exotic and alien to Westerners, like I think the Brutes’ name just translates to “stupid monkey” in Korean. It’s like if the Jackals were called los pollos locos or whatever
