Userbase is probably way more than half bots now in the age of the LLM.

So happy I quit that website years ago. The niche subreddits were fun but the site’s management and ownership is garbage. As with many online platforms, moderation depends strongly on unpaid labor while the ownership swims in the profits from selling ads and user data. Also doesn’t help that it’s chock full of ignorant, politically illiterate, overconfident chuds who blindly spout US government propaganda the minute you say anything remotely leftist and will autoban you from tons of subreddits if you’re subscribed to leftist ones.
