And the sculpturer had ties with the KKK and involved in vandalizing stone mountain to carve a bunch of traitors on it.
And a really silly name
The really sick part is that local tribes already referred to the mountain as “Six Grandfathers” referring to their spirits of the 6 directions of 3-dimensional space, because it already looked kind of like a bunch of old guys. The US literally just blew it up to colonize the whole concept.
Yeah it already has some pareidolia qualities.

But these people aren’t ever capable of introspection. It’s fine to destroy other people’s culture for their own benefit. But they now have a hissy fit when someone destroys theirs?
