CalyxOS is back? This is really great, really important to have options in the Android ROM space, especially ones with decent default apps

Is there any ROM like this that supports samsung galaxy phones (Galaxy S25 specifically)??
No, because Samsung locked bootloaders. Unless you’re on a very old One UI version (or before One UI 8 outside of the US)
Had to stop using it for longer trips. Unfortunately the traffic data from Google is kinda vital. :(
It isn’t vital; it’s convenient.
i assume it’s actually vital in places like the US, where roads aren’t designed so much as they grow like a fungus and thus you can quite literally have kilometers of traffic standing completely still.
Yeah especially on a long drive where due to traffic info I can save 30-45 mins or more on some occasions, I’ll take the privacy hit.
When you are travelling for 9 hours with little kids, avoiding a long traffic jam and saving an hour is vital
