I’m also a bit conspiracy brained regarding Platner. Reminds me of the classic organized crime thing where they pay a fighter to go down in the nth round. Yeah I’m increasingly convinced this dude is some kind of Op. The more I learn about him the more I can’t buy his claimed progressive politics are legit. I could buy a guy who joined up with the Marines and used to be a violent jarhead asshole could have a come to Jesus moment and try and become a progressive activist or politician, but if that was the case you’d think he’d be RUNNING on that, not denying or downplaying the shit from his past.
