Don’t it sucks. I started because my ex smoked and I like a dumbass wanted to be cool too. Smoked for like 12-13 years, quit, switched to vapes for 2 years, quit that, now I’m on low dose nic pouches. I figure I’m probably never going to quit while my life sucks, but in the spirit of harm reduction the pouches are the least bad for me.
I have been similar to you, but was hooked on vaping before cigs. I just hopped off zyn / velo and it was surprisingly the easiest time I’ve quit.
I went from 2 cans of velo a week to cold turkey much easier than it was to get off vapes. I’m about a week in and it does suck because I’m always thinking about it, but it doesn’t ITCH like it did with vapes.
