I do not understand this, is this a me problem or an American comprehension of reality problem?

I think this guy is saying that “Buc-ees” (which I assume is an American service station chain) is bad because people are mean to him there, but like, not employees, just random people. And he has somehow decided that this is the fault of the servo, not the individuals he interacted with, or maybe even his own fault, accidentally or not. And now he is issuing a declaration to…someone to…not allow jerks at Buc-ees or…close all Buc-ees because jerks recharge their cars there? That the jerks should all shop elsewhere? I really do not understand, especially since he begins by talking about “bigger problems in the world” and then acts like he needs immediate fixes to his problem, that simply declaring this out into the void will fix…whatever problem he is having.

I’m just so baffled, is this an exceptionally unusual person, or is this a gaze in the psyche of the average American? Impotent and undirected rage frothing under a “civil” veneer and the reasoning abilities and patience of a toddler?

Alienated shouting into the void, but with American characteristics

This is not the average American, but a loud minority. It’s for a few reasons

      1. Social media-blasts work even when they are cynical fabrications
      2. Customers expect to treat retail workers like shit because they usually can, because retail workers have no rights
      3. Extreme ego

This person just wants a coupon or some other concession from Buc-ees. Maybe free high-fructose slop for year.

Wanna see the demographics on CT owners. The ones with an extant marriage and a non-balding hairline must be in the single digits.

I know he’s exaggerating but 500 stops on a vehicle that cant be more than 2 years old is insane, like 5 stops a week.
