    Just finished After Atlas. What a wild ride. The environment is a probable Black Mirror progression of our present timeline, and it was published in 2016.

    I finished one over the weekend and I’m reading The Two Lies of Faven Sythe by Megan O’Keefe now.

    Levar Burton is one of the major reasons I love reading and have read 32 books so far this year. I love that man! 💚

    Just finished Xenocide. Yes I’m aware the author’s a homophobic piece of shit but he can write detailed storylines with complex and seemingly morally ambiguous characters. No I didn’t have to pay a single cent to read it.

      Yeah, I’ve long held conflicting views of that series. Ender’s Game was a defining book of mine as a child. I even went to a book signing of Card when I was a freshman in high school, and still have the signed Ender’s Game book I got there. But he is a piece of shit. It really puts to the test the concept:
      You can separate the art from the artist.

        It took me a while to listen to Demons and Wizards again when I found out its guitarist was a Jan 6er. It helped that his collaborator almost immediately disassociated himself from the band.

          It’s almost cliche now, but my wife has always loved the Harry Potter books and movies. It’s hard being a fan of that now. The new HBO series coming out will be an interesting test of the art vs artist
