    You guys, can you please fund the vicious private army that kidnaps and tortures people for no fucking reason? Cause otherwise I can’t go to my job where I sit on my ass all day being as rude as fucking possible to people while serving no actual purpose. Don’t you see I’m a GODDAMNED VICTIM??

    Business Insider and the airline CEOs understand, why can’t you? Just allow a liiiiiiiittle bit of murder in the streets and I can go back to thoughtlessly propping up the empire for an hourly wage! Before you ask private armies not to kill you, ask how this will affect CEOs and the security state, you know, things that matter to people like me.

        They’re (sarcastically) suggesting that a compromise or concession needs to be made (funding ICE) to end the shutdown so that government employees (inculuding TSA) can start getting paid again.

        I am definitely referring to Border Patrol, ICE, and related organizations.

        Homeland Security is what is being de-funded, affecting all organizations under its umbrella. Both the TSA and ICE are run through HSA, so re-funding HSA means re-funding both.

        This TSA agent needs money and that’s more important than people dying in camps. And they want money for doing nothing, which is what the TSA does. And want us to feel suuuuper sad about them and feel nothing about people murdered in the streets and sent to countries they’ve never been to.

        So fuck them is the conclusion I came to. People in this country are suffering, and they’re not one of them.

    Weird how there’s so many government shutdowns while Republicans are in control and they last longer.
