Currently sitting through food handler training for like the third time, apparently I have to do this like every 2-3 years until I get a different job or die because the state thinks I’m going to somehow forget absolutely basic shit like “40-145°F is the temperature danger zone” which i promise you is not gonna happen. Why can’t I just get a certification that says i’m built different and don’t need to do this over and over and over again


View it as service to your comrades! I for one am very happy that you personally are educated in food safety. Who knows when I will patronize somewhere you work.
The thing is it’s not really service, I’m not learning anything, i’m just sitting being talked at for a mandated 4 hours about things like “did you know you need to wash your hands?” and I so very much do not need it.
As soon as they let me take the actual exam i was done literally as quickly as my brain could register the questions and make my hand check a box.
