I don’t know the views of miz but authority structures like the state can be viewed as a form of dictatorship, using laws and police with a monopoly on violence to enforce their authority. Right now most states work in favor of the rich elite bourgousie, communists and anarchists both aim to create a classless society but communists believe in wielding a form of “dictatorship of the proletariat” where the state structure is used to seize factories and productive forces and further the betterment of the working class/proletariat rather than completely abolish all forms of state immediately, as far as I understand.
“authoritarian” is the worst libertarian meme of all time. The important difference between governments is who they work for— all states are class dictatorships, either ownership class or working class. Putting them on an “authority” scale implies that all governments are somehow separate from the people, and in the same degree.
I think its a reference to “dictatorship of the proletariat” in Marxist texts/theory. A state will either be a dictatorship of the capitalists or a dictatorship of the proletariat.
I’m just gonna do “Why Marxism?” using the “boiling down each paragraph” method. Does that method count as studying? What about processing this information from “Why Marxism?”? I’m a bit worried that I might forget.
all states are class dictatorships
Is that why you support anarchism? NOT being rude, just asking.

Saying the state is a class dictatorship sounds like a bit like anarchism. NOT being rude, just saying.

well, it’s not. it’s Marxism-Leninism
Do you think I should read theory a bit more?

Actually, do you have a tip on boiling down each paragraph in what you recommended to me?
