Fox News sometimes takes a break from the moral panics to cover reality. Still, the only one of these Alt Pages that actually performs a revolutionary reimagining of its function is the People’s CDC. Doing anything useful means you’re an enemy of the next Democratic administration looking to adopt Republican policies; in contrast these are just meme pages run by people who used to have federal jobs

Ok, I’m a ham and I know the usage of 88, but I would be suspect of a post by a national parks account using it because it isn’t a ham radio account. Context matters.

So, this seems to be the case, but I’ve never seen anyone use anything but 73. Or “Good Business.” But I’ve only been a ham for a few minutes.

I will say that most normies have no idea about Nazi weirdos and all the symbols they love.

Alt National Park Service is active on Bluesky. It is possible whoever runs the account is a naïve normie and sincerely didn’t know anything about 88 or 14. That would surprise me but it’s possible. Still - I wonder if in the following days that account suddenly says something like “IQ is NOT a myth. There are clear differences in…”

Hmm… I thought the Bluesky account had maybe ~30K followers. I was all wrong about that. They are a top account. They have 881K followers. Now I sort of expect them to make “obvious” race science claims in the coming weeks.
