I made an incorrect assumption that everyone in the auditorium understood that, yes, we are all going to perish from this earth. So I apologize, and I’m really, really glad that I did not have to bring up the subject of the tooth fairy as well.

For those that would like to see eternal and everlasting life, I encourage you to embrace my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Marie Antoinette never actually said “let them eat cake,” but if she had it would’ve been smarter than this. The ghouls are showing their fangs.

Completely deranged and unhinged cultist shit, especially with the context. When can we stop pretending people who speak like this completely unprompted are normal human beings. If Christian theology was actually real, using eternal life in heaven as a justification for why its fine to gut what little exists of what passes for a healthcare safety net in America would’ve caused the ground to open up beneath her feet and for her to be dragged down direcly into hell.

Weird how self-proclaimed followers of a guy mainly known for healing the sick and feeding the hungry not only do not do those things themselves, they seem vociferously opposed to anyone doing those things.

I feel like Christianity has always had a kernel of nihilism lurking in it; in the fire-and-brimstone telling that successfully took root in the US, life is essentially an eyeblink in the eternity that you’ll exist and yet it’s the only time when you can be tempted into actions that will ensure that you’ll experience an infinity of agony. Trying to wrestle with that notion would lead to some pretty antisocial conclusions, so it just gets sublimated until the culture curdles into something like this.

They believe in God, it’s just that God is cool and they have a close personal relationship with him

That’s why God always forgives them for the bad stuff they do, because it’s not bad

Because if it were bad, then God wouldn’t be cool with them and they wouldn’t be rich

I feel my reddit atheist phase returning. They’re all so insufferably smug.

Christians literally cut medicaid because rich people don’t feeeeel like it and “muh MUNnIEZ!”…literally just like their own antisemitic slanders.

I hope she’s brutally murdered. At her funeral people can say, “everyone is going to die, so what’s the big deal.” She can burn in hell then like she fucking deserves, piece of human tripe.
