    AOC has it all. She’s progressive, well educated, from a humble background, intelligent and good looking. I am rooting for her but I don’t expect the Democratic Party to have a fair primary for that Senate seat.

      I’ve never voted for anyone because the are considered “good looking”. What a shallow approach to politics.

        Unless you haven’t lived in the real world, you’d know that -like it or not- looks also matter, and right now we need all the matter we can get

            It matters for men too, though I’ll agree it matters more for women

            I’m not saying this is a good thing, I’m saying this is how it is because it’s how humans are wired. Like it or not, subconsciously you’ll like pretty people better

        It’s the unfortunate reality in American politics, especially for someone from a minority group
