Went on a pretty exotic vacation with my GF at the time, during a period of very intensely overworking myself

Arrived around midnight, slept until about 5-6 PM the next day, had sleepy dinner with her, back to sleep, woke up the next morning at about 9:00 finally all caught up and we started having a wonderful time

Surprisingly enough she was 100% cool with it and we just commenced having fun on the 2nd day instead of the 1st since I seemed like I needed it

That’s cause she knew and was giving you the time you needed.

Have on many occasions slept 12-15 hours after extended stints awake, but my record is unknown to me.

I once slept for basically a week, because I had what we now know was pancreatitis. I’d sleep, wake up to moan in agony/scream, and the fall back to sleep. I remember very little of it, other than that I could not eat. The moment food passed my throat I was in total agony, the best I could do was broth, but i was literally only awake for minutes at a time. I was running a fever, horrible pain in my abdomen, and couldn’t even drink water the first few days. Early days of COVID lock downs, and the local hospital was so overrun that it would have been pointless to go. There were no beds, no available doctors or nurses, nothing. Tried going to an urgent care, but when my parents called them they basically said don’t bother, they won’t be able to see me. Lady at the ER told us basically the same thing, but she literally said “I can’t tell you not to come here, but I will say I wouldn’t let anyone I loved near this place”

    It was terrifying

Edit: just asked my mom something to clarify, it was 12 days, not a week. Like I said, I remember very little. I also lost 45 pounds.

Probably 17-19ish hours. I go to sleep early and wake up late. It usually happens when I stay awake for 24+ hours. I used to sleep 10 hrs on average, but I’ve needed to pee more often recently, so I rarely go more than 8.

Off my ADHD meds, I typically sleep for around 10 to 12 hours on average and also have to take naps throughout the day.

I can get nothing done due to being sleepy all the damn time.

About 14 hours I think? I once went on a long distance 12 hour flight and couldn’t sleep at all. It was a discount ticket (my dad used to be a pilot) and I had to sit on one of those fold out benches for the entire flight. VERY uncomfortable.

Anyway, I arrived at around 7 am local time and because my stay was limited I decided to just stay awake and sleep at a normal time. To get used to the new time zone and get the most out of my trip.
The moment when I finally hit my bed I completely shut down. I slept at around 10 and didn’t wake up until noon.

15 ish I think? I think I was just getting over being sick during a heatwave, weather cooled off finally and I just crashed. I don’t sleep for shit when it’s hot, and what little sleep I do get is not especially restful, so I’m physically exhausted and sore most of summer.

I do sleep great at about 55F degrees tho
