My brother recently told me that, if he turned out to be autistic, it’d probably be okay because he likes figuring out the rulesets of complicated systems.

In a town in which I used to live, the post office is now a gynecologist’s office. However, because history features heavily in that town’s history, historic buildings are heavily preserved there, so the medical facility still appears, at least externally, to be a post office.

A friend of mine claims that he once went there and asked to “put something in a slot,” only to be rudely turned away. Given the phrasing, I’m pretty sure he was joking.

When I was pretty young, I attended a sleepover at a friend’s house. I have always been a light sleeper and woke up before anyone else … Only to get concerned and wake up a friend to ask why there was a giant spotlight in the distance.

To be fair, my parents covered every window in their house every night and the room in which I slept wouldn’t have had a good angle to see that directly anyway. He still looked at me like I was a dumbass before he answered, though.

I’m now worried about the sun becoming inactive.
