Damn. Even with the crazy high heat you’re basically parking the food right in the danger zone for bacteria growth. Mailbox lasagna: busted

In my opinion this pretty conclusively proves that you can’t make a mailbox lasagna. This is the graph I looked but for my previous statement:
And it shows that a car can hit 130-140 at temps around what you posted. Which is so much wildly higher than what you posted I do have to assume cars have some sort of greenhouse effect going that mailboxes don’t
Finally when you consider how much of the total volume of a mailbox a lasagna covers, I have to imagine that’ll slow heating down even more! Great work!
I don’t know if this could inadvertently dox you but I’d be curious to see an hourly outside temperature too to see how much hotter a mailbox gets than outside. Based off your first graph here I’m wondering if cars having glass windows makes a greenhouse effect that would make a car hotter than a mailbox, everything else equal?
I don’t know where this is but it doesn’t sound impossible to me. A quick Google shows that the FDA recommends 160 F for casseroles and that in direct sunlight a car can hit 160 if the ambient temp is >105 F. I know mailboxes aren’t cars, but over a longer period in a smaller metal box, it seems like the math could check out
If speed running counts I was once top 10 in the world for speed running a puzzle game. Since then I’ve dropped into the 20s and the video has been lost
I kinda agree. Sure there’s observable/measurable phenomena out there, but past a certain point it’s like a toddler asking why? You just have to say "because that’s the way it is:
Why did that apple hit me in the head? Because of gravity
Why does gravity make things fall? Objects of larger mass attract objects of smaller mass
Why do they do that? Well the more massive something is the more it warps space around it
Why do massive objects warp space around them? Well there’s some theories that certain sub-atomic particles interact in a way that causes these forces
Why do those particles do that? Well that’s just what they do
(yes, I know these are overly simplified)
Eventually you reach our furthest level of understanding and we just have to say “that’s just what we have observed happening, we don’t have a root cause or explanation yet.” That bottom level is basically magic in our universe until we learn more about it
This is a classic for a reason. We make everything as inhospitable for bikers as we can and when they work around it somehow they’re the bad guys
You’re telling me you don’t like waiting 9 months for him to spend 2 minutes advertising the shittiest pay to win mobile game followed by watching some mid 2000s bullshit with a few reactions? Maybe you just aren’t a real fan
In that very specific scenario I’d almost prefer Vader to be unbeatable. Make it so he always perfect blocks you, he prevents you from getting close, he interrupts your combos. I almost feel like making the boss actually impossible sells your point harder than making them “beatable” but you lose in a cutscene anyway
Maybe. If the books are still available then it leaves the opportunity for parents/guardians to get the books for their kids. Which does still suck because I remember going through the library and grabbing every book I wanted. That certainly has contributed to my lifelong love of reading
Still, parents take their kids to library most of the time anyway, so kids can still get the books. Possibly this motivates parents to get more books for their kids to stick it to the GOP. I see this as a viable work around personally
Yes. They spent years fighting Roe V. Wade with inane bullshit until one stuck. They fought student loan relief, immigration changes, and healthcare reform. Republicans in America have clearly demonstrated that they are dogs chasing after cars, and when they catch them they don’t care or realize what the consequences are. We need to stop excusing their behavior as if they’re “making a statement” or “posturing”. They tell us what they want to do, we say “nah, they don’t mean it”, and then it happens
Here’s a Tom Scott video instead of a paywalled article
This guide is so bad that I might actually call it harmful
Bee and mosquito bites manifest pretty differently across people, but I can forgive that
Spider bites vary wildly depending on species and depending on your location you should know if venomous spiders are in your area and how deadly they are
That is not what tick bites look like, that’s what Lyme disease looks like. If you see that you should be concerned because you likely have a lifelong affliction. Also, identifying tick bites is stupid, they stay attached to you
The most characteristic part of bed bug bites are a series of bites in a short line/grouping. They stop feeding in response to micro movements and relocate to feed again
The only reason I listen to Film Reroll is because it’s about movies. I don’t even listen to all of them, just movies I know will be fun/I’ve seen. Fifth Element, Mighty Ducks, Aliens, Last Action Hero, and Memento (which was incredibly cool how they did it) are the ones I’ve listened to since 2020.
Something about actual play just irritates me, especially for D&D. I’d just rather play myself
I’m fully in the Nick Weiger podcast universe so I listen to:
Which are all comedy podcasts with similar people appearing. They’re about chain restaurants, random side bullshit, Video Games, and Anime respectively. Then I also listen to:
Which is a podcast by 2 former cracked writers which is the only reason people listen to them and a podcast about playing through movies as role playing games
What would be wild is if the “legal” justification they landed on was that the president specifically is immune but not the people under him. So you’d just have to hand Biden or Trump a handgun and watch them march up to someone and kill them because no police or military has the authority to stop the president
Obviously I don’t want to live in that world but at least then we’re living in a crazy movie dystopia which might at least be more fun to watch
I just watched a video where the director of John Wick was talking about how hard he had to fight the studio to kill the puppy right at the top of the movie. People wouldn’t stand for a dead dog, it’s too evil, etc…
Anyway now we’re discussing if a puppy killer should be in a position to run the largest military in the world if an obese, confused, incontinent, drug addicted, 77 year old man kicks the bucket
Who needs to make America Great Again? We’re already here baby!
I’d guess it’s probably from a curated Tumblr post which I’ll paraphrase:
“Every criminal deserves rights”
“Except pedophiles, they’re true scum”
“Yes, also pedophiles”
“You’re a piece of shit”
“If pedophiles don’t have rights, then everyone they want to not have rights will be declared a pedophile. For example, transgender people, queer people, liberals, and more have all been accused of preying on children”
“Oh.”
While I’m sure most superheroes would be fairly resistant to most diseases, I also wouldn’t be shocked in those universes to see ad campaigns with Spider-Man, The Flash, or Captain America getting vaccinated. Hell, that basically happens in the MCU with Captain America shooting high school PSAs
It was so good I immediately went to his page and started watching his most viewed videos. This guy rocks
