almost? we’re in the middle of a decades long ongoing scandal centered on gaming the system.
which means it’s imperative that everyone does this going forward.

opera was so much more than just a browser. it’s the closest thing to the old idea of “internet suites” that netscape and later mozilla tried to create, that we ever got.
i’d definitely pay for the development of something i use that much. unfortunately i can’t donate directly to development of firefox, otherwise i would have.
how many hours a day do you use a browser?
no you were right the first time

lime!@feddit.nuto Open Source@lemmy.ml•Did PewDiePie Just Crack the Code for How to Present Libre Software?English251·14 days agoi’ve got a problem with what ESR calls open source.
like, the fact that free software is inherently political has been explored elsewhere in the thread, but the term “open source” was started by people who wanted to distance themselves from the free software movement due to them disliking that it was anti-commercial. the open source movement wanted more companies to adopt their code, in contrast to the GNU people trying to stop their work being absorbed into the old big iron.
and they won.

yeah yeah, cosmological approximations and all that, but there’s still a bit of difference between “planetoid” and “gas giant” :P
i think you did the weight approximation in the wrong order, 1024 is a lot bigger than 6×1023. so you can probably double the final weight.
so you’re saying i’m a natural fit for academia and should go back to school
