I click links frequently and I’m not a web crawler. Example: get search results, open several likely looking possibilities (only takes a few seconds), then look through each one for a reasonable understanding of the subject that isn’t limited to one person’s bias and/or mistakes. It’s not just search results; I do this on Lemmy too, and when I’m shopping.

wait, no I don’t want the answer to that question.
Well we all vote in our own best interests, as I’m sure you do too. The art of good governance is to provide an environment in which everyone can thrive.
The problem here is not old people who don’t vote in your best interest, it’s the government that aren’t ensuring everyone is catered for.

That mushroom at the bar buying drinks for everyone; he’s a fungi to be with.

Plus my computer has learnt that if I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del 30 times the next time is the big red switch.

letsgo@lemm.eeto NonCredibleDefense@lemmy.world•Turns out half of the country just desperately wants to be on the wrong side of every issueEnglish42·3 months agoI get the strength of your feelings, but for now the MAGAts aren’t actually killing people. Yet, maybe, but that remains to be seen. By calling for their deaths, and doubling down on it, you are making yourself worse than them. Killing political opponents is something we see in places like Russia and Iran, not in a (supposedly) advanced democracy like the USA, where a wide political spectrum is meant to be part of the design.
(BTW I’m British, and a big fan of what America SHOULD be. Somewhat less enthusiastic about what you’ve become.)
The reason we’re seeing this sort of stuff coming to the forefront, IMHO, is because the mainstream political parties aren’t listening to the people’s legitimate concerns about immigration, poor public services, lack of work and so on. So when the Nazis strut in, apparently championing all that stuff, it’s hardly surprising when people vote for them. The solution is not to murder those voters but for the mainstream parties to take that stuff into consideration and make sure the far right remains “fringe”. There will always be far-righters, the trick is to minimise their influence.
The rise of Nazism really needs to be a wakeup call for the moderates: you aren’t listening to some really important stuff, you need to start, and no it’s not “racist”.
Motherland, surely? -a is a feminine ending.

That woke agenda is going way too far. Poor mutt.
What if you misspell “thank you”? Would it use even more resources?
letsgo@lemm.eeto The Onion@midwest.social•Patriots preparing to celebrate the resurrection of a man they would have dismissed as a 'woke libtard' if he was alive todayEnglish1·3 months agoNo, actual. No body was ever produced. And a real resurrection would explain the disciples’ change from scattered and terrified to emboldened preachers willing to suffer death. For example see Peter, who denied Christ three times after he was crucified, but whose later sermon to a large crowd saw 3000 converts.
No don’t take a help desk job, you’ll be forever tarred as a support person who’s at best a wannabe programmer.
