Oh, they better get fucked with their “easy” spyware features.

Back to the caves. Literally.
It seems like they gradually rollout this bullshit:

Dude’s thoughts after he got allowed into the firetruck:
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Usually I just stop using their website too. Because fuck them.

Oh, Endurain is cool, I didn’t know about it, thanks! I don’t need it though (lol), but it’s cool.
I have a few Garmin devices used exclusively with Gadgetbridge and pretty happy about it. Early implementation had quite some bugs, but current one is much more stable and polished. There are still issues and limitations, e.g. custom watchfaces installed from their store refuse to work after X days without connection to the official app (manually installed .prg files work fine), but overall I’m not going back to official apps already.

Gadgetbridge is what you’re looking for.

No, the other commenters are right — it’s between 100 and 150 depending on the angle. And it’s like this because we have 50 N + 50 N on both sides of the top pulley (classic pulley thing) + 50 N more attached to it at the bottom. Kinda confusing at first, not gonna lie :)

Okay, I’ve found a nice picture for it. Whoever sad 150 N (with the 180° angle, less with other angles) was right, and the rest of us were wrong :)

Updated it for 2026:

It should be 50 N assuming ideal system (0 pulley traction), right? What about non-ideal systems?

What’s the force in this point?

Modern cars are basically spyware on wheels even without it.

Given how useless those stars are…

I don’t think all-BYD fleet is such a great flex.

I think that would be the next step, once they get enough idiots to hook onto that shit. For now, I believe, the ads are only on the platforms to which they’ve already hooked everyone. But I’m also an optimist, huh xD

Digital Gulag is just around the corner.
Why would anyone ever need to rotate a specific window? Not judging, just curious of the use cases.
