It’s not hard at all. The real problem is that like 90% of hardware makers don’t allow you to unlock your bootloader. And every year it becomes less and less common. Chinese phones used to be amazing, because you could just slap a good clean rom on amazing hardware. Nowadays (due to pressure by the ccp from what I gather) most of them do not allow bootloader unlocking anymore. Or they allow it only using insane requirements (100+ day active user in good standing on their Chinese support forum, only 100 unlocks/day, first come first served at 1am Beijing time, etc etc…)

And without an unlocked bootloader, you can do jack shit with your phone. Hence why pixel phones are so liked for custom roms. They unlock straight out of the box, no questions asked, no weird hoops to jump through.

Hong Kong turned out totally fine after that went back to China right? So much freedom of speech and movement over there now.

Yeah, I know about the sound. I’ve watched multiple videos with guides how to parry. Somehow my brain refuses to get it

It’s a me thing, I couldn’t get the hang of parrying in elden ring, and not even in botw can I do it. But put me on e.g. Interrupt duty in wow, and I won’t miss a single interrupt. I could time the bonus jumping attacks in Mario rpg games without any issue.

I’m not a bad gamer by any means, but for some reason I can never ever get the hang of fucking parryibg.

I hate parrying so much. I can never get the hang of it in any game. I can play twitch shooters at a decent level, I can play the most challenging platformers without any issue, my reaction time is OK for someone of my age, but give me a parry mechanic and it all falls apart. For some reason, my brain cannot handle video game parrying.

I ended up downloading a mod that extends the parry window by 500% in Claire obscure. I still fucking fail at it at times. It completely ruins the game for me :(

The hot and cold water thing is not common at all. A few sushi places and bars have it. But it’s quite rare tbh.

Ah, didn’t realize that’s what they did. I thought they just fired fake guns (eg something like an airsoft gun with gas blowback or something fancy )and edited the sounds in later.

From what understand, guns are silly loud. Much louder than they sound in movies.

All fine and dandy, but don’t just pick a random one close to you. Don’t forget that the admin basically has all your info. So do your due diligence and make sure to check you agree with all their policies etc.

You’d honestly help more by being an active contributing member. We need posters, not lurkers at this early stage. Need to have good content and insightful discussions. Everything else is secondary to that.

Would be pretty dumb imo. They’ll bring a huge and potentially active userbase with them.

But I care more about content than principles for social media…
