Wouldn’t obvious triggers be the prime use for a trigger warning? I don’t think you understand what you’re talking about. IDK what the original posts are that caused this so I can’t judge them, but requiring people to use a CW when taking about Palestine seems reasonable

And that statement is stupid as fucking shit.
I get where you’re coming from but wanting an option other than corporate politicians is very different from willingly electing your last president as a childish incompetent dictator.
Ugh, living in a forest like that sounds idyllic
Omg, I hadn’t thought of that. Social security is taxed from income, American wages have been stagnant since the 70s.
I’ve been using kobo. The integration with pocket and Libby is the killer feature for me. Checking out library books right on the device? Game changer.
The 2xl was fantastic. I’m on the 6 now and I miss how light it was, but the higher refresh rate is nice.
Unbearably frustrating. We really need to abandon cars as a concept.
I don’t even think the meme is about communism as much as it is just venting about how corps turned free-software into the panopticon it is today.
But Idc if Torvalds is a Marxist bc I’m not either, but marx wrote about how the proletariat should own stocks, so that isn’t even disqualifying tho.
And tbh I think most “marxists” just adopt that term because our political discourse is so corrupted that anyone who thinks that we shouldn’t curb-stomp an Amazon employee for wanting a bathroom break is treated like they’re Mao anyway.
I’m such a sucker for fingerless gloves 👏👏
I’m sure they think it’s because they were so annoying, lmao. Like they think they did something.
…but capitalism is so good, things only get better!!! The market is too regulated, is the problem
That’s wild considering we’ve almost used up all of the fossil fuel reserves on earth. So good luck to this guy after 2060 I guess?
That’s the irony.
But Density means communism to them so they’re suddenly fine with regulations and taxes that prop up an unsustainable suburban ponzi scheme because that’s the lie sold about the American Dream.
When they see how unaffordable housing has become they say, “good, my house is more expensive.”
Is that quantum or is there another rewrite I don’t know about?
The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury is a book of short stories that are great. I really like the rain and he has a story called The Long Rain which I read a lot. He has a few in there that are actually really spooky though.
The Marionette’s Inc was just taken and adapted into a loosely based episode in the last season of Black Mirror (Beyond The Sea)! They’re very very different, but it’s the same concept applied differently and the book itself shows up in the episode.
Yeah. It’s the usual nonsense habits of people that they will defend to their dying breath
They’re not going to sell though. The US only makes up a single-digit % of their users.
