It’s moderately common in my country where coffee is often consumed for the caffeine content and not the taste. We call it the “thief’s coffee” because it’s minimal prep to get your fix quickly, almost as if you were committing a burglary lol

Formerly Gentoo, now TumbleWeed user. But this chart doesn’t align
I put the ground coffee (a lot of it) in the mug and pour hot water. Stir it a bit later, then the grounds stay put in the bottom usually. I’ve been told I drink asphalt, but then I just feel like everyone drinks very weak coffee. I do this because I want it to be a quick process, I don’t want to buy a fancy machine that requires maintenace, and I want my coffee to have a proper kick.
What distro does this mean?
Should be installing Firefox anyway, otherwise why don’t you just use Edge, it’s also Chromium…
Unused code is stripped out by the compiler, but will your homemade library properly use all the fancy instruction set extensions for matrices? IIRC it’s not as simple as just compiling for the correct microarch. But I could be wrong.
Or blueshift for the other half
Fortunately, you can read through the source code of SearxNG and even modify it - provided that you also publish the modified version to your users if you host it publicly.
You can run your own instance, public or private. Or you can use a public instance.
Internally, it uses other search engines, rather than crawling the entire web and indexing everything.
“We’ll try anything as long as it fits in our exact worldview and doesn’t inconvenience us in any way whatsoever”
Meanwhile remote-first companies are saving money on office space and can use that to hire more people, while also immediately being greener than a company with commuters that have to worship the concrete temple.
I doubt they want my fun and safe math optimizations either tbh
I’m neither a, s nor p lmao.
So why don’t you move back to Russia? Presumably you still have a citizenship.
So many Russians abroad praise the homeland while enjoying the relative freedom that other countries bring to the table. Yet none seem to understand that others don’t want to live in Russia either.
Ukrainians tend to be proud of their national identity - which, yes, I know, only Russians are allowed to be, but apparently many people don’t seem to care - so it’s pretty hard to convince them to go back to being second class citizens of yet another attempt at a Russian Empire.
I’ve put in 60 or 70 hours of work this week. Productive. I’m a software engineer. In my normal 40 hour week there’s at least one day where I do nothing and then the other days have 2-3 productive hours.
Why? Because the project is falling behind and this one is being led by our CEO. We have like 20 employees. I save his ass, I’ll probably get a raise out of it.
tea candle and 3cc of mouse blood
Is there something you know that I don’t?
They have no reason not to at this point.
Do you think a single Ukrainian wants to live under Russian rule now? The few I’ve spoken to don’t even want to be spoken to in the language and that was even BEFORE 2014.
Wow, POV is used correctly for a change!
Dude, most of Europe is also pledged to help the US when attacked. In fact the US is the ONLY country ever to have invoked article 5.
Ukraine is not a member but is strategically important to NATO because it’s strategically important to the Russian empire’s restoration, which we kinda want to prevent. Plus they’ll be a powerful ally once they can join, which they really want to nowadays.
Now the US could go full isolationist, but if a Russian-Chinese alliance takes over all of Eurasia, y’all are really going to lose out on a lot of trade and access to resources, plus might actually be susceptible to invasion if you have no allies left.
Worst part is, they got acquired the year after release, so even if KC:D 2 is good, their games in the more distant future are bound to be enshittified.
Brave of you to say it on ml where a lot of people support Putin’s goal of restoring the empire.
Ideas more broadly = information
Just about any information that self-replicates it using humans, could be considered a meme.
The freezer itself produces heat too though.
There’s no pot involved here, you put it in the mug, but ideally you also use a super fine grind so it stays in the mug usually
Oh fair enough
To be fair I didn’t mean to insinuate that it’s manlier to drink literal mud, it’s just how my mom always made it for herself when I was a kid and I just… learned to like it. It’s very much an acquired taste. But yes, there’s always a moment of pride when people say “wtf how can you drink this shit” :)
