Well for people like me who can’t get their damn parents off Facebook, this is somewhat of a blessing.
Right… so less than 1% of immigrants being violent criminals, makes them equivalent to a virus?
I mean sure. yeah. You have an opinion. I won’t be continuing this conversation.
Now, a power move from Matel would be to not increase the price after a tariff, and take the loss, or make some sort of “Tariff Barbie” to teach kids about their wonderful president.
they won’t do either of those things though, theyre just going to take the punch and roll.
humans also invented socialism, communism, fascism, monarchy, democracy so on and so fourth.
like, you can’t just take the worst and be like “you see this is why we need to get rid of them!”. its literally the point of the post. thats what is going on right now in the US with literally any person below the top square on the family guy race card. Would you say just because less than 1% of immigrants that are in the US have committed violent crimes, that all of them are violent criminals? If you do, I have bad news for you.
This github gist should be able to help you out. Its an open secret that theres a link called “megarepo” built into CloudStream that let’s you download every extension. Paired with the auto-download extensions and autos update extension settings it makes cloudstream extremely useful, you would’ve had to have stumbled upon the gist or got told in their discord about it though.
I love the pic you posted, wonderin’ if I shared it, would you mind?
I know a couple people online who would love it please reply.

arch probably
Do you have an nvidia GPU?
reminds me of the old greentext that was like “please drink a mtn dew verification can to continue”
i really hope something happens soon to prevent this future.
I mean I dont disagree with you. I try to minimize those risks as much as I can in my life. I run CalyxOS, only run FOSS apps, keep airplane mode on unless I’m out & expecting a call, keep location off unless I need a GPS. I get your point though, I’m in the minority on that.
If there was a Pi Zero on par with the Pi 4 I’d definitely be making my own “phone” though. i hate knowing part of my phone is a google black box.
not sure about stock android but if I set notifications to silent on CalyxOS it Doesnt make a sound when I Screenshot
It’s closer to Win8’s Metro and Win10s FluentUI more than Vista’s Aero but your point still stands. These are decade old design philosophies.
it’s an improvement but I’m still not happy about these huge ass buttons in the notification shade that could easily be half the size. Theres so much wasted space. I used to be able to access 6 quick tiles in the minimized shade. now its 4. Used to have 9-12 tiles on a full shade. now we have 8.
If you’re going to continue to make 6"+ phones, USE THE SCREEN SPACE FOR FUCKS SAKE
Ive noticed this at chains, but not at my local stores. Goodwill for example, I always see dollar tree items marked as $2+. I know Theyre from dollar tree because theyre still in the damn package.
If you like being in control of your data, like tinkering with new/emerging tech or industry standard tech, want to break free from Google/Apple/Meta/etc, or if you want to have a hobby similar to working on your car without getting your hands dirty and physically destroying your body, homelabbing may be for you. You can really do whatever you want with it. Make an android app repo, create a DNS server, or NTP time sync server, you can host your own videos with PeerTube, have your own private email server, host a Mastodon or Lemmy instance, or a Bluesky personal data server, you can host your own local LLM or have a Google Photos-like AI photo library with Immich. You can use Frigate to get AI powered security cameras. Theoretically, you could even make your homelab your main PC and just carry around a lapdock for your phone to remote into it. Theres really no limit to what you can do other than your willingness to put in the time and effort, and deal with frustrating scenarios when they come up. I’d rate it 9/10 on the worth it scale, just wish some things could be more streamlined.
CalyxOS mentioned!
