Does AI use odd words and sentence structure? I think it does the opposite unless instructed otherwise. It uses the most precise common words that work and the most common sentence structure.

Before humans invented barns, barn owls were actually called “bar nowls”. They were a type of nowl that lived in bars. It wasn’t until barns were invented that they changed species and changed into owls.

9·6 days agoThe article mentions several types of adult material, including this step-relative thing, as well as adults who look like children. These issues are quite controversial.
And these bans all passed by a margin of either 1 or 2 votes.
The article also talks about measures to combat revenge porn, which I don’t think is controversial at all.

2·7 days agoCopyright is an artificial monopoly granted by the government whose purpose is to encourage the creation of new works.
The government has no non-corrupt reason to make copyright last longer than the time needed to encourage the creation of new works. Anything longer than that is a waste of taxpayer money.

Climate@slrpnk.net•Keir Starmer abandoned net zero to court Reform voters. He failedEnglish6·8 days agoAs an American, following the recent move to the Green Party in the UK, I wanted to find more information about the Reform party I had also heard about, since I was mostly familiar with Labour and the Tories.
I was surprised that apparently, one of the most common reasons to criticize the UK Reform party is that they’re perceived to be racist. And perception is quite important to voters deciding which party to support. How would Labour plan to court this type of voter? It doesn’t make sense to me. To date, they’d be voting for Reform instead of Conservative due to their far-right-wing views, right? Or am I just oversimplifying/misunderstanding?

It’s interesting how embarrassment works. The cashier doesn’t actually care, and will probably not remember you even in the case that you meet again later.
There’s literally no reason not to do what you want to do, yet you can’t help but feel embarrassed and then do something that you wouldn’t do otherwise.

1·2 months agoReminds me of how Duchamp’s Fountain was attacked.
If I had an AI art exhibition, I would definitely arrange for someone to come destroy it like this, as there is very little point to having an AI art exhibition otherwise.

Yes but that means that they’re using evidence that it’s not AI and saying that means it is AI. It’s insanity.
