This whole line of argument takes it as a given that no one should be cleaner than medically necessary. Bathe you dirty animals! Don’t you like to feel clean? Isn’t the grime itchy? Much of modernity sucks shit actually but modern sanitation and hygiene are genuine triumphs over the conditions of the past! Use them!
