That’s such a weird choice. It’s supposed to be opulent. The first book especially is very much about the “rags to riches” fantasy that Harry goes through in the first act, and the Hogwarts feast is part of that. The book is not subtle about this.
Yeah this is kind of fascinating. There’s no way I’m watching this but I need big joel or somebody to suffer for me cause I need to know if this is part of a broader theme.
