    Sure, but I’d bet at some point or another a bunch of them get to take a field trip to a local base where they get to learn to shoot guns or some shit. The bases I lived nearby growing up always had some sort of open house type thing a few times a year where they had the jrotc kids helping out with that kind of stuff.

      Now this is gonna be purely experience and observation talking and not any sort of data talking, but up here I’ve only seen like a few high school jrotcs teach air rifle shooting in connection to the local school air rifle competition teams. I’ve also heard that only the air force and army jrotcs up here hold summer camps at the military installation here where the most military-thjng they do is sleep in barracks, eat at a DFAC, go through the local obstacle courses, and generally herd children around trying to get them to burn energy while getting a light taste of basic military life.
