A Bank of America vice president was killed in a stabbing in New York City’s Times Square on Monday, sending a shock wave through the bank after the random incident took place in broad daylight in the heart of the city’s tourist industry.

Erin Piacenti, 32, was a vice president in BofA’s business selection and conflicts unit, according to her LinkedIn profile. The NYPD said that the suspect was a woman with a history of mental health issues.

    This was in the news yesterday and appears to be a case of a crazy person with two knives stabbing a couple of people at random, one of them fatally. The stabber then approached the cops with the knives and was fatally shot. The stabbing victims’ occupations weren’t mentioned in the article I saw yesterday. I don’t have they impression that the occupations figured in. “Vice president” in banking is a middle management title and B of A likely has literally thousands of them.
